Stay at (Almost) Vienna, OR: The beautiful countryside nearby and around at Lower Austria

This Group is for everyone who lives near vienna and want to host people, and for everyone who wants to see and get to know to the beautiful surroundings of a beautiful city.

You can use this group if you can't find any host in vienna as a second last minute Group, or post long time in advance if you just want to stay a bit outside the city to make an experience almost none normal tourist would ever make.

Also if you just want to get a bit outside of the big city, and enjoy the flair of smaller cities and towns which are often very easy and quick to reach via train from vienna. Maybe also to find some country side events or parties which you won't find in vienna.

This group also should unite all the people who live in this many small towns around Vienna and also would like to help and host couch surfers. It shall make it easier for couch-surfers to find hosts or nice people to spend a day with anywhere around vienna without searching separately in every single small town... and there are a lot. ;-)

2 brazilians needing a host in Austria

Hello everyone!

I'm Luiz from Brazil. Last year I traveled through Europe with my brother Harrison (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/harrison-silva) and now we are doing it again. We are respectful and easygoing guys. The first stop was Budapest in Hungary and then OZORA festival. After that Bratislava, Slovakia and then Austria. If someone want to hung out, share exeriences and maybe give a place to us to stay for a few days, we are more than grateful for that. Im sure we can share a good time together and we can cook some meal, practice idioms or perhaps prepare the famous brazilian drink, Caipirinha. :)

Vienna trip! :) Looking for host

Dima and I are the students from Moscow, who are also fond of meeting new interesting people from around the World!) Within last year we have visited 9 countries and can't wait for new places and adventures) We've been to Lithuania, Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Germany, France, Belgium, Latvia and Netherlands, and now we're going to have a trip Bratislava-Vienna-Prague) The second stop is Vienna where we would like to spend for about 7 days) During this time we want not only to see the capital of embarrassing Austria but also to find interesting places near the capital and see the beauty of Austrian nature) We ask you for hosting us for as many nights as it is preferable for you) I think we can have a great time together and give each other a lot of positive emotions :) If you like the idea, please, write me back!

2 Friends - Arriving 20 Jul - Looking to find a host, for 4 nights

Hello Everyone,

Greetings from India :) Me and my male friend, both IT Consultant from India and looking to explore and have a great experience in Europe starting with Vienna followed by Bratislava, Prague, Paris etc. we will reach Vienna on 20th Jul late evening.

Thought it be great Idea to start the journey with someone local and friendly who can showcase what Vienna is naturally.

Apart from being IT fellows we both love cooking Indian food. He likes to trade a lot and yes has seen breaking bad too :D and I like to find new things and converse about travel. The stories are just always so unique :) Plus Googling is my hobby.

Looking forward for your time on our backpacking trip and creating memories.

Happy New Year 2018

We are a French couple, we travel to Vienna to past the end of 2017 and started the year 2018 in Vienna! :D So it is why we would like to know if somebody want to pass the night in the city with us!? Hi, I'd like to try new experience in travelling and visit Wien, i'm looking not only for a couch for couples night but also a good friend, who can help me to find the most impressive sites in the city, and to do a ot of interesting things as well. i'm friendly and into comunication . i'm going to visit Wien these Monday and Tuesday (my host family has told me about this weekends too late, i know, but) , have you got time for me? :) I’ve already chosen some places I would like to visit, and maybe you have smth to add or change;) if there is an outdoor activity and you want to go into it, but still don't have a person, who joins u - so let me be there ;) originally i'm from Ukraine, but now live with my hostfamily in Germany, that's my first jorney around the Europe and it looks like the dream's becoming true
