Writing Tongariro Alpine Crossing Trip – 1 August 🚗🥾❄️ Hi everyone! My friend and I are driving from Tauranga to Taupō on 1 August and have 3 seats available if anyone would like to join us. Plan: • Friday (1 August): Drive to Taupō and stay at a backpackers hostel. • Saturday morning (2 August): Start the Tongariro Alpine Crossing around 8:00 AM. It's a full-day hike through some of New Zealand's most beautiful winter scenery. If you've been thinking about doing the crossing and would like to join, we'd love to have some good company! Fuel costs will be shared between everyone.
