The Balkan Mafia tradition continues! This spring we'll meet in Nikšić, Montenegro for a cosy meeting. Expect long discussions full of travel stories and laughter, Balkan music, and hikes in beautiful nature. And this time we're visiting the home town of beer Nikšićko, so we might drink a bit of beer too 🙂 Don't expect too much organization, just join and have fun! What is Balkan mafia? a CS-born community of Balkan people and Balkan loving travellers who have been meeting twice a year somewhere in the Balkans for over 2 decades, rotating festivals. Since a few years we’ve started to add a few invasions to neighbouring countries to keep things fresh, although we also still meet in Balkans too. Balkan mafia meeting? These are like CS camps but we’re not aiming for large groups. Most of our meetings tend to be attended by 25-45 people, a mix of Balkan mafia loyalists, newcomers, and friends made along the journey. We’ve had larger meetings too but we find that smaller meetings where you actually get to talk to everyone are more satisfying. During BM meetings, expect lots of chatter, some hiking / visits, and parties.
