Join Couchsurfing HQ in celebrating International Couchsurfing Day, one day early! This year, we'll be celebrating at Ocean Beach. Couchsurfing is all about sharing your interests and hobbies! If you have anything you'd like to bring or share, please let us know in the comments below :) Location: Ocean Beach Fire Pits Nearest Intersection: Great Highway & John F Kennedy Dr. For directions we recommend using www.google.com/maps or www.511.org Please bring a dish to share, any beach picnic stuff you'd like to bring (blankets, beach chairs, etc), and a smile! We'll provide s'mores materials to get the potluck started. You're welcome to bring anything, but if you need guidelines: Last Name A-M: Appetizer/main dish Last Name N-R: Dessert Last Name S-Z: Drinks BEACH RULES: Please be respectful of the environment and the ranger's rules. No glass or alcohol is allowed on the beach. Update 6/7 Please bring: Something for the potluck, a warm jacket (it may get cold out on the beach), any beach games or personal instruments to play, a shirt (or something) to tie-dye. All evening: potluck, beach and bonfire, tie-dye [while supplies last], banner signing, meeting great fellow Couchsurfers! Around 6pm, we are planning to do a short live broadcast to the rest of our community in a Facebook Live video! If you’re interested in sharing some Couchsurfing stories with the community, or in saying “Happy Birthday” in your language, please let a staff member know and they’ll let you know how you can be involved. They’ll be wearing Couchsurfing shirts so you can easily recognize them! We'll end the video by singing Happy Birthday to Couchsurfing See you all there!
