Hi Surfers! I've been running a language exchange for a couple of years now. It's a non-commercial event (i.e. it's free) and a great place to meet people, practice a language and have a drink / something to eat (I ussually get a pizza). The address is La Di Da (577 Little Bourke St, Melbourne VIC 3000). There's ussually around 120 people, so it's a busy event and always some people to meet.
