Hi!!! ☺️ Sunday 26th April is the Romería of Tegueste, one of the main romerías of the island ❤️. The romerías of Tenerife are AWESOME day parties full of traditions and fun. People wear the traditional Canarian clothes, eat typical food, and play and dance traditional music. And food and drink are for free!!! The environment is really awesome, and I encourage all non local people who have never attended one, to experience it!, as, apart of being too much fun, it's also a one of a kind opportunity to get involved in the local culture 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇮🇨. If you want to join the event, just join it and send me a private message, as I will share all the information (including meeting point and time) only by private. If you know me already, then just join the event (not necessary to contact me). *This event is in Tegueste, but I posted it in Santa Cruz, because if I post it in Tegueste almost no one would see it. And in any case, some of us will go there from the metropolitan area. For those who want, we can go there in public transport together. *This is a massive (and super cool) event. I don't recommend to go there by car. For the first, because to park there is very difficult that day (not impossible, thus, but very complicated). Also, because (unless you are teetotal) most probably you are going to drink some alcohol, and if you drive, this is not a good idea; or maybe you decide not to drink because of that, that it's the most normal and logical option, but maybe not the happiest one in case that you are in the mood to do it. And because that day the public transport increases it frequencies with Tegueste, and in fact there are usually special and specifical services for the event. *TO WEAR TRADITIONAL CANARIAN CLOTHES IS NOT MANDATORY AT ALL (it's the ideal, but not an obligation). I can advise you about where to buy cheap ones, if you want, but if not you can just wear some comfortable clothes and shoes (I also advise you to don't wear nothing "posh" or that you love a lot, as maybe you will stain yourself with wine 🍷🍷-at least, it always happens to me 😅😂-). *As explained, there are food and drink for free. Those who are vegetarian have enough options for eat. Those who are vegan don't have as much, but still have some options like pop-corn, potatoes and fruit. But don't stop coming because of this reason, as you still have options, and also you can just bring or buy something by yourself, in case that you want to feel safer. *I'm also inviting some friends and acquaintances (although still don't know who will ending joining).
