My mission in life is to make our beautiful world a little bit a better place to live in. My Philosophy in life is going by the 4 initials R.NV.J all leading to Love. As for me, after studying Architecture for sooooo long it is a big part of my life. I plan and design (mainly the interiors of apartments). I teach in a couple of schools. Sometimes it's fun and sometimes stressful. Being responsible for my student's success and their professional life is a big mission. I love photography, lately, the camera I use the most is the one on my iPhone and the Canon D5 is lying in the closet. I love cooking ... and eating :-) I love good people, admire passionate activists and envy genuine dreamers! Since 2015 connected to a small school in Nepal as a big brother with tons of love.
ABOUT ME I am originally from a small village in the north of Israel close to the border with Lebanon. Therefore it is very beautiful yet there is nothing to do here- hence the traveling around the world :) things board me really quickly that's why I manage to do a lot in a little time, in the past 2 years I've been working as a salesman, carpenter, computer technician, factory worker, apple picker, educator, a waiter, and an entertainer as a G.O. in club med. I'm Currently studding Industrial Engineering and Management. Going on my fourth year. I connect really fast to new people, love to laugh, eat, explore, and be dramatic. In high school I learned Theater and Biology. I am very easy going and can change myself to your behavior- either calm or noisy, busy or not, smoking or nonsmoking, don't have problems with mess but I myself am really tidy. PHILOSOPHY Ecclesiastes book from the Bible basically sums a lot of things for me. Live and let live. We are all humans living on the same earth- lets give more respect to ourselves, others, and the land we live on. Religion doesn't talk to me and a lot of time separates between people.
I'm Hila I was born and raised in Israel and live here nowadays. For 3 years I lived as a nomad/ digital nomad my house was my backpack :) Life can give us lots of gifts, we just need to learn how to see them. Couchsurfing is a natural gift. and I feel gifted with the beautiful people I met here. It is a bridge between people. That's it is all about. Open your heart to give, and feel how much you receive. In the last years, I changed my lifestyle, my political career, beliefs, and philosophy of life and I keep exploring and learning. I'm walking in the field of Yoga, Buddhism, Ayurveda, teaching online and dancing between Nomad life to digital Nomad life. I speak fluent Spanish and love Latin America music and dance. Love Arabic and Indian food and mostly enjoy in nature. "My journey never ended It's just changed location" Thankful for the Life Gracias a la Vida! Hila, @Gipsyla_
Born in the states, moved to Israel and lived most of my life in a beautiful valley called Emek Izrael (east from Haifa). Later in my life, I moved to Haifa for almost two years and there opened my house to couchsurfers for the first time! After a Journey in south and north America and southeast Asia, I settled down and studied Eco-therapy (aka Nature therapy) in a holistic-therapy college in Israel. later on, I decided to take my therapist training to the next level, and in one year I will be finishing my masters in psychology. I love playing music with people as it's a huge part of my life! Also, I love capoeira and dancing :)

Deeply in love with my home city.
Iām a software engineer from Israel with a strong love for nature, hiking, mountains, and outdoor adventures. When I travel, I like to explore beyond the usual tourist spots. I enjoy finding quiet viewpoints, local food, hidden places, and real conversations with people who know the area well. For me, traveling is not only about seeing beautiful places ā itās also about understanding the culture, the lifestyle, and the stories behind each place. Iām open-minded, respectful, easygoing, and curious. I enjoy meeting locals, sharing experiences, learning new perspectives, and discovering places through the eyes of people who actually live there. Iām always happy to share a coffee, a meal, a walk, or a good conversation.
ABOUT ME When i travel my focus is about the people and the experiences with them. I love music, books, aimless strolling and such. I'm an open minded person who likes to explore the boundaries of what we are able and courage enough to think of as humans, and if we have the courage to apply it outside of our minds. Don't expect me to be awesome !! I'm human, sometimes I'm fun and sometimes I'm dull. It really depends on the chemistry between us. PHILOSOPHY no philosophy :)
I live in a central neighborhood in the city of Haifa called HADAR, located in a walking distance (15 minutes walk) from the downtown commercial area of Hadar. Because Haifa has developed and expanded without planing in advance, Haifa has several commercial centers: 1. The Lower Town - the first part of Haifa populated by mostly Arab population surrounded by financial institutions, governmental institutions, offices, small industry and some growing nightlife area. 2. Hadar - ethnically mixed population surrounded by small shops, offices, food market and flea market. 3. The Carmel - higher socio-economical population surrounded by restaurants, coffee houses, pubs Haifa started as a few Arab villages on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea and expanded into a city. of Haifa was built in the 1930's-1950's as a residential area for the rich and\or intellectuals. The Technion (technological academic institute) was built in HADAR and it was in HADAR until there was no more room for the Technion to expand, so in 1984 the Technion has completed the relocation to another part of Haifa. In recent years the old building of the Technion is functioning as a Technological Museum named TechnoDA'. This neighborhood has some bars, small coffee shops, small grocery stores, antiques shops, second hand clothing and books shops. This neighborhood is like a small urban village in which everyone knows almost everything about the life of everyone else. Regardless if you are CouchSurfing at my house or not, I strongly recommend that you explore the atmosphere of MASSADA STREET. I found these video clips about Haifa for you : 1. https://youtu.be/8-3dvpBqnCE 2. https://youtu.be/qW9favPKsBU 3. https://youtu.be/SW0nnaoTHo8 4. https://youtu.be/Ptor0jBTwDM 5. https://youtu.be/ZZX2Q7scTN8. I am listed as a member and i host through: Couchsurfing, Trustroots, and Be Welcome. I am new in this apartment and the maximum capacity of guests has not yet been tested. The first guests in this apartment started arriving in March 2022. All the guests before 03/2022 have stayed at my previous apartment. I can host several people traveling separately at the same time and quitĆ© often I doā¦. I have two guest rooms with beds for one couple and two individuals, a large living with enough space to fit several people as a public room and an open balcony (3 meters by 4 meters) with enough space for more people. I am a flexible host. If you want to arrive at anytime earlier or later, if you want leave sooner or stay longer, it's all good with me. Just be sure you let me know in ADVANCE what are your plans. I started my own guestbook that I wish to have as a souvenir from all my guests. But sometimes I forget to ask people to write in it. Please let me know if you are willing to write anything for me. *I feel discomfort to ask for gifts from people. So I will just put it on my profile. I am a vegetarian. I love cheese. Especially, I like the cheeses that are dominant. You can bring some cheese or alcohol from your country. In particular, I am curious about alcohol and cheese I never had before. There is a greater chance that I never had a specific kind of alcohol or cheese if it canāt be found in Israel. From Latin America, I am very curious and interested in trying Agua Ardiente and Chicha. I will be thankful just for your visit.
Iām Israeli-Russian entrepreneur
