Hi Everyone! A bit about me : I'm originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, and of Italian descent. I've owned and run my own business for over 26 years after building a career in sales and marketing within the automotive industry. Music is another big part of my life. As a hobby, I enjoy creating my own dance mixes on a DJ controller. My favourite genre is melodic techno and trance, but I have a deep appreciation for almost every style of music. When I'm relaxing, you'll usually find me watching documentaries, reality shows, comedy series, or anything produced by Taylor Sheridan. Along the way, I've learned that the most rewarding part of life isn't just what you achieve, but the people you meet and the experiences you collect. I'm easy-going, respectful, curious, and always enjoy meeting new people from different cultures. I'm passionate about travel, history, architecture, nature, and discovering places beyond the typical tourist trail. I live by a simple motto: "Life is about experiences. You can't experience what you've never done, and you can't do what you've never dared to try." Above all, I believe the best memories don't come from the places you visit—they come from the people you meet along the way. That's why I'm on Couchsurfing: to make genuine connections, share stories, learn from locals, and hopefully create lifelong friendships....

I'm a mother of 2 boys, I have a full-time time job as a paramedic, I also own and run a rental business. I love travelling and have been to 25 countries now, if budget was allowing we would have travelled much more. But we take it 1 country at a time.

I play in a band, so if your timing is good, I might even be able to take you along to a gig! PHILOSOPHY I like to help people. I believe we each have a purpose on this planet. My house is near Soweto in Johannesburg, which is ideal for travellers that want to experience the people of South Africa. You can reach my house by train (Metrorail, Unified Train Station R6 from Park Station in 2026), buses, minibus taxi (shared taxi), Uber, Bolt, meter taxi (very expensive) or I have parking for cars and motorbikes. Chill out in the swimming pool, acclimatize, explore Soweto, chat and plan your next adventure. If you can bring me some typical food from your country then I would be very grateful! I love to try new foods. I am relaxed and easy to talk to. I make friends very easily, I usually travel alone so that I can spend all my time with local people. I don't travel to see places, I travel to meet people and understand their views, their opinions, their challenges and experiences. I am very interested in new experiences, new foods and most of all people.
