Oh right,so, why would you want to be my friend or crashing at my place? That is a tough and tricky one. On the surface,I am only just an unassuming Taiwanese bloke and well,I suppose that is what I am. My name is Borys, I am friendly,comprehensible and easy-going. Having recently left New Zealand after spending 3 years there, I’ve now relocated to Vienna, Austria. However, I do come back to Taiwan from time to time for a visit. I love meeting new people, talking and exploring what makes them tink and see the world. As for myself, I'm interested in many different things and so tend to run in many different directions at once. Being surrounded by nature is a basic human need, cities are great but I need to be near the trees & grass & beaches and the wind & the elements once for a while,otherwise i would die. I love keeping the balance by challenging both mind and body to the limits,I like to learn and see new things about everything. Driven,simplistic individual with a big heart lots of energy and a passion for making a difference,making new friends and living for those magical moment that stay with you forever. I am an open-minded person who loves to travel. Every time I go for holiday, it has to be a new place. New place comes with new people you meet, lovely local food, new cultures to experience and learn from. Been doing this for quite a while,as soon as I have free time. Seen some very brilliant places but there is still so much to see on the Earth.I would love to visit Europe & North & South & Central America, Africa and Pacific Ocean area and the unseen parts of every nook and cranny round the wrold.... It will absolutely take a life time!!but I am not discouraged by that. I usually do many things and keep a busy schedule. I'm very spontaneous,and don't really plan ahead too much so i wont know what I will be doing the end of the month,and so on let alone have made plans for the following week.I guess I take every day as it comes. I am on a long journey around the world. It all began in March 2022, when I bought a one-way ticket from the Czech Republic to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in Argentina. The original plan was to hitchhike across South America all the way to northern Colombia. And I did it. After about 11 months on the road, I finally reached the Caribbean coast of Colombia. But by then, the road had its grip on me and I wasn’t ready to stop. So I kept going - I crossed from Colombia to Panama by speedboat and hitchhiked through Central America, Mexico, and the USA until I reached Canada in October 2023. There, I spent almost a year working and traveling. Then I continued further north until I reached the northernmost point of the Pan-American Highway in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska in September 2024. With the Americas behind me, I set my sights on Asia and decided to turn this into a round-the-world trip. I spent three months in Japan, one month in the Philippines, and six months in Taiwan before finally buying a ticket to Vietnam. There, I bought a bicycle in Ha Long. My current plan is to cycle to Phuket, Thailand. From there, I will try to get on a sailboat to the Andaman Islands and India. My long-term plan is to travel across all of Asia and return to Europe in the spring of 2027 Instagram: el.camino.25
