Hi there, Iโm Rikushi from Japan. I love to discover new things. New things like visiting new places, hearing others' thoughts, experiencing whatever new to me. That's why I'm here on CS! I'm looking forward to hearing your interesting stories of traveling Japan and off course other countries! Iโm happy with either host or just hanging out:) Iโve been to around 40 countries, including half year long Silk Road journey. So I hope I also have something to share:)
Please read the profile and house rules carefully before making a request. I work for a Japanese telecommunications company. I've never been abroad before. I'd be happy if you could teach me a lot about the world. I'll make you a typical home cooked Japanese meal If I have a time, so I'd be happy if you brought me some delicious snacks and beer from around the world.Exchange for Japanese dish or sweets
I enjoy new things. And a very open minded person . I enjoy making connections with people and learning about their travels.
CURRENT MISSION I want to have friends from all over the world ABOUT ME I am a hybrid (there's Japanese, Spanish, and Filipino blood in me). I have a tweenage girl who lives in Manila with my mom, while I work and live in Yokohama. I save my money for a nice trip with them, but will feel guilty spending money just for myself so I don't travel a lot. I am easily amused, like that happy dog you see at the back of someone's car looking out the window. I will gawk at random things: a beat down shed or a tree. I can go to touristy places, but am happier when I literally take the road less traveled. PHILOSOPHY You can do whatever you want to do, as long as you don't negatively affect the people you care about.

Trying to make a difference in your mind and get to make a difference in my mind during the time with you. Hi there! I'm Ryohei and I'm originally from Japan. I'm traveling all over the world now. My purpose is to talk to locals. It can excite me most. So, I have learned English in the Philippines for about 5 months. Before that, I was working as a IT engineer for about 10 years in Japan. They're the most interesting things in each of countries I have ever been. 1. Philippines They love dancing and singing. I saw them everywhere. I got a useful weapon named English. I'm really grateful to the country. 2. Singapore They love to eat out. I was welcomed by it. I'll never forget that they ordered meals how much we didn't finish. Their hospitality were awesome. 3. Turkey There were nice blue sky, smell of fruits and fish. Views were super spectacular. 4. Russia. Locals were super helpful and friendly. They helped me anytime when I asked. I completely changed a impression of them. 5. Ukraine There were many great forests. I fell in love with them. The country made me be aware how great they're. 6. Sweden I have stayed two hosts for the first time. I was able to save money for traveling all thanks to two of them. Locals were so helpful and well-behaved. 7. Spain Local were so funny and cheerful. They made me laughed at all times. They seemed like to have fun living. I want to follow their minds. 8. France Locals loved Japanese culture. There were many Japanese stuff in the town. So, they really welcomed me and talked to me what they really felt. I had fun to have a conversation with them. 9. Italy Locals loved to wear expensive clothes like Japanese. They looked different in other European. 10. Egypt Local were so pure. They expressed their feelings honestly. I was glad that they properly interacted with me. 11. Emirates There were international people live in. It was unique. In my opinion, it'll be more fun to live than traveling because I'll communicate with a lot of people. 12. Iran Locals were super friendly and upbeat! Most of them accepted my requests and actually served me. I wish them happier. After visiting, I'm interested in reading news of Iran. 13. India I felt like there're deep background India has. I liked to go to a park because I loved to see their sitting cross legged. It was heavenly. 14. South Africa I was robbed my money and cell phone when I walked on a street. This experience made me learn how important safety is. I knew how I didn't care about it too much. 15. Argentina Locals were super upbeat. They welcomed me with cheerfulness all the times. I actually had fun spending a time to be fullest. 16. Chile Locals were so faithful. They almost keep promises that we did. Their modesty remind me about Japan. I truly felt close to them. Santiago was the well-balanced city. 17. Brazil Brazilian people were smiling all the times and put smiles on my face. They expressed their emotion fully. The town was colorful, a lot of green nature, vivid outfits and interiors, such as them. 18. Venezuela I asked locals about safe in Caracas before I visited. They told me circumstance and some tips. So, I've stayed with safe because of them. I witnessed and heard what I won't have. It was one of the valuable and adventurous trip for me. 19. Colombia There was a city more developed and cleaned than I expected in Bogota. It seemed to me that Bogota is going to hold a bright future. The country gave me a positive gap and a big value. 20. Mexico In reality, the immigration didn't allow that I entered Mexico. It would depressed me and made me mad. I had some troubles entering. On the other hand, Mexico was the extremely good country. Locals treated me cheerfully. So, I really had some blasts there. Next time I'm going to drawn fascinating people. 21. Canada Canadian were so well-behaved. When I bumped into someone, he/she said "Sorry" for sure. Plus, when I was in a trouble, they tried to help me out themselves. They were the most caring people I have ever seen. 22. Denmark There were many interesting stuff in Copenhagen, pictures with profound caption , parents taking their kids by bicycle which I have never seen , modern designs and beautiful landscapes. All of them fascinated me. 23. Netherlands Usually Dutch impressed and thrilled me when we had had a conversation. They were literary rational and logistic. I didn't get tired of taking to them at all. I'd admire their thought and mind. 24. Belgium I went down from Denmark, Netherlands and Belgium. Belgium was completely different than these two countries. Belgian were so out-going and laid-back. I felt welcomed , actually. I spent a lot of times with joy and fun. It was first time one family invited me their home even in Europe. I'll never forget the sweet memory. 25. Ireland There was such beautiful forests in Dublin. Those comforted me when I went there to rest. The city was lively and energetic by Irish and South American. But that forests were so quiet and calm. It felt a giant gap between the city central and suburb. 26. Switzerland There was the beautiful and big lake in middle of Zurich. It seemed like a comfortable and cozy place to people. They were chilling , being tanned, reading, doing sports , taking snacks , swimming and stuff. It was worth staying for a week even though expenses were quite high. 27. Austria I thought Austria was like Germany before coming in there. But, I realized it wouldn't be wrong. There was international , especially from east of Europe. The fact influenced Vienna, it felt like a variety of great moments there. People took me the river for swimming, going to a bar and a Japanese tea shop and stuff. I felt welcomed by them , actually. 28. Germany I saw some German before visiting Berlin. It felt like they were so good-behaved and advanced. I expected to meet up with such a good people. But, my image was different. Some of them were super nice as I thought, some of them didn't reply even though they texted me once, some of them were so strict of time. I have had experiences to interact with a variety of people. Berlin would be the deep city. 29. Poland There were many Japanese stuff , such as Japanese restaurants, t-shirts printed Japanese language, people speaking Japanese so well. So, it felt like so close with Japan. Polish were so punctual, so it was so comfortable to meet up with them there. As you see, most of my memories were created by locals. So, I hope that we spend awesome time each other. Others expressed me as these personality. ใปGentle ใปDiligent ใปFunny ใปKind ใปSerious ใปRude ใปCoward ใปAnalytical ใปSweet I look forward to meeting up with you!

Young professional trying to navigate my next chapter of life in Tokyo area. Want a cat, preferably brown or grey fur. My commuting time is usually filled with some latest pop jams or soothing audiobooks :) As we get to know each other better, I'd love to listen to whatever stories you might want to share. I think chatting and listening are some of my strengths, and I tend to agree more than I disagree, to sympathize more than I disregard.

I live in Tokyo with my husband and 23 y/o son. I love traveling and meeting new people. I opened my art gallery in 2003, and it is still my profession. On the other hand, I'm a researcher of Japanese art history. My house is located near JR Meguro Station, and the office is near Roppongi. The house is not big, but clean and cozy. I usually work from Monday to Saturday, so actually I don't have time to take the guest around the city together. I can just offer a bed-and-breakfast and talk about Japan and its culture. We have 1 available bedroom with 1 single-size bed and a toilet. So we can accept 1 traveler only for a stayover.
