Hi, Iโm Luca. Iโm originally from South Italy, also Canadian, and currently based in Perth, Australia. Iโve lived and worked across three continents, travelled quite a bit, and somehow collected more life chapters than a Netflix series that should probably have ended two seasons ago. I work in technology leadership, which means I spend a lot of time solving problems, building things, and pretending meetings are not secretly breeding in the calendar. Outside work, I love food, music, deep conversations, walking through cities with no perfect plan, and finding the small local places that tell you more about a country than any tourist list ever could. Iโm starting to travel solo again because life has beenโฆ a lot. I lost my mum recently, went through a breakup, and realised I needed to go somewhere not to escape myself, but to hopefully bump into myself again in a better mood. Depression and grief are strange travel agents. Terrible brochures, but occasionally they send you somewhere meaningful. Iโm not looking for pity or drama. Iโm looking for real human connection, kindness, good stories, shared meals, laughter, and maybe a sofa where I can rest between one existential crisis and the next coffee. As a guest, Iโm respectful, clean, independent, easy to talk to, and happy to contribute. I can cook Italian food, share travel stories, help with tech questions, or simply be good company without taking over your space. I believe travel is at its best when it reminds us that people are mostly kinder, funnier, and more interesting than the news makes them look. Looking forward to meeting good humans along the way.
