I was born in Silesia in Poland and currently live in England. I love travelling and meeting new people. It's the best thing in the world 🌎 I'm grateful for being able to travel. My dream is to visit all the countries... but my list grows as each time I visit a place I want to go back there again... In a few years I'd like to travel full-time, maybe get a van and drive... now I'm trying to catch up on travelling and do quite a few city breaks. I love cities, walking around and admire architecture and learn about history while trying local food. I also love nature, mountains, lakes, rivers and beaches.. just everything.. I am a researcher, educator and activist - the mix of all three works suits me very well. I currently work as an English language teacher and I also undertake academic research relating to the human right to freedom of mind (https://worldmhc.org/currentprogress) - which I am hoping to start a PhD on very soon. I am an attentive person, a good listener, and someone who is keen to learn from others. I have a good sense of humour and I'm kind and very easy-going, so people have said. I enjoy nothing more than spending time with friends and engaging in discussions in a quiet setting, preferably over a meal + drink . I have an issue with group labels, that is, judging a person on the basis of his/her group characteristics. It is sadly in human DNA to do so, but something which should be struggled against. A child should not be designed to fulfil a pre-determined role in society. We lose something precious: the element of choice, chance. What if a child dreams of becoming something other than what society intends for him or her, to something greater? It has been part of my life journey to shed religious, cultural and political labels like 'Christian' or 'British/English', while also trying to define myself on what I am for (rather than what I am against). In a word: humanist, secularist, etc. I believe in being pro-social, fighting for equality of opportunity, and also in breaking down power structures.
