CURRENT MISSION From 19th of July 2026 until 30th of August I'm travelling by myself. So in this time there is no couch available. I like to visit this world and meet wonderful people. ...and it's also possible that this world can visit me ;) ABOUT ME IĀ“m honestly, open minded, sociable, authentic. I love to laugh :D ...and I also can enjoy the silence and to be on my own. Iām interested in a healthy lifestyle, yoga, meditation, mindfulness. Iām not looking for a mail friend (pen pal), a flat mate for a long time or a partner ;) Sorry for that, but there are some strange requests in the last months. ā¦and I will only accept a friendship request if I know you. I do not smoke but itĀ“s possible to smoke at the balcony. I like to drink a glass of wine, a beer, a tea, coffee.... with friends and guests. I like to go for a walk and I like biking also. Maybe we can do that together in this beautiful area at the Dutch boarder. PHILOSOPHY Couchsurfing is for me exactly what the Dalai Lama says: When our intentions toward others are good, we find that any feelings of anxiety or insecurity we may have are greatly reduced. We experience a liberation from our habitual preoccupation with self and paradoxically, this gives rise to strong feelings of confidence. ...and when you have experienced couchsurfing, you know: that's not paradoxical, it's logical :) Thatās why I donāt use Couchsurfing as a dating site.

I would describe myself open minded, easy going and lazy. I love to be active and do new things. I'm not good in staying in one place for too long. When I was young i lived in Singapore for four years with my parents, brother and sister. At this time we visited a lot of countries around Singapore for holidays. This is when I started to like traveling. So during my studies I did two internships abroad in Finland and South Africa, furthermore i did some road trips trough Europe. These were the best times I have ever had! I am very passionate about my work as a hardware engineer, but sometimes I miss the freedom to travel which I had when was a student. Unfortunately it is quite difficult to find a job in electrical engineering which also involves traveling. So I try to use my spare time at its best!
