Moved to Paris, France to be a fille au pair when I was 22 and then taught English there for a year. I was fortunate enough to do a lot of traveling while I lived in Europe. Moved back to the states when I was 25 to begin my career, but I never lost my passion for travel.
Hi! I am an Engineer from Arkansas, USA but I’ve spent much of my life looking beyond my own corner of the world. I earned my Bsc and MSc in Engineering finishing in Germany, worked at the United Nations in Geneva, have lived in 4 countries, and have traveled to +45 countries. I’ve couchsurfed many times and still believe the best part of traveling is meeting people and experiencing everyday life through their eyes. I especially enjoy hiking, ancient sites, dramatic scenery, and going off the beaten path. I’m easygoing, patient, open-minded, and happiest when a trip leaves room for spontaneity. Detailed itineraries are not really my style. I prefer to see where the journey takes me. Money is not an issue so if you want to join or guide me I am happy to help cover costs. :) **The only people I have a hard time with are the ones who say they are "Open minded" and then list the 10 topics and peoples and groups they hate in the world. *

I never tire of learning new things and I desperately want to see as much of the world as I can manage. Newlywed to my best friend, Terrance and determined to honeymoon for the rest of our lives. We just bought a house and have managed to unpack almost everything. Work keeps me busy and traveling a lot but hoping to help coordinate some more local stuff with the Little Rock CSers now that I'm firmly planted down here (former Fayetteville CSer).
