I was born and raised in Colorado and have lived here my entire life except for the six years I attended undergrad and graduate school in California. I have been living in Fort Collins for six years and absolutely love this town. I am a very introspective and spiritual person with a growth mindset and tend to get along best with people who are willing to go deep and talk about all the many complexities that come with being human.

I feel that "open minded" is to be accepting of not only other "open minded" people but anyone who maybe labeled as "closed minded". I love how each person has a mind of their own. Do you think everyone does? Yes or no its fun to talk about it among other topics. Along with intellectual topics, I like to be a goof, laugh and share dry humor. I like to give lots of good energy to others and then feel them give me good energy back. PHILOSOPHY oops I think I already said a little about that. Live and Love. I rarely strike people wrong. From hosting travelers in our home in Colorado to staying with incredible people around the world, Couchsurfing has been a vital part of our journey. These days, we primarily use it as a way to connect with locals while traveling, always seeking that insider’s perspective that makes every trip richer and more authentic. CURRENT MISSION Learning through experience, traveling as much as possible and meeting interesting people along the way. Having spent a good chunk of time on the road traveling, I understand how meaningful it can be to give weary travelers a place to stay. It's all about paying it forward and helping fellow adventurers out. ABOUT ME Easygoing. Outdoorsman. Always willing to try something new. Slow traveler, preferring to explore new places in-depth instead of seeing many places on the surface. Love learning about different cultures. Enjoy helping fellow travelers. PHILOSOPHY I embrace the transience of life. You never know what you're gonna get or who you're gonna meet. And that kind of uncertainty is what makes life interesting.

CURRENT MISSION Always striving for a happy medium. ABOUT ME I'm quiet until you get to know me, but I do like meeting new people. I really like eating. When I'm not eating I'm usually doing something active like playing water polo. I used to read a lot of books... until I started graduate school. I study Lyme disease, so I'm really interested in ticks and other parasites. PHILOSOPHY There are certain things I feel strongly about but rather than preaching to people I try to live my life according to those principles and set a good example. I try to be responsive to constructive criticism, because I think that how a person responds to suggestions for improvement says a lot about them.

CURRENT MISSION To travel more and meet new people, learning all the way. ABOUT ME I live in Drake, Colorado which is halfway between Loveland and Estes Park. I'm lucky to live in such a beautiful area, but I know there are many other amazing places to visit and people to meet on this planet. I'm hoping that being part of Couch Surfing will facilitate that. PHILOSOPHY Do no harm to others and pursue your own version of happiness. I just made that up, but it fits my outlook pretty well. I think we all have to do what's right for ourselves while always keeping in mind the welfare of others.
