CURRENT MISSION Meet and know people from different parts of the world, whom I can’t meet in normal life. ABOUT ME Born and raised in Tabriz/Iran, I studied in Kermanshah/Iran, then lived for some years in Tehran/Iran, some years in Mashhad/Iran, and now I live in Ankara/Turkey. I work as freelance translator. With very limited leisure time, most of the time I work or read. In the references you can see that I have hosted some of my guests together with my wife and son. But nowadays I mostly host in my other home (a two bedroom flat) where I work. When hosting, I normally stay with my guests (not leaving them alone in the flat). I normally host members who host too. Seeing members who have joined CS years ago but haven’t hosted anyone yet is disappointing. More disappointing is seeing members with high number of host references with 0 traveler reference. To keep this community alive, we should all contribute to this community by hosting first. To accept a hosting request, I need at least a week, although one month before is ideal. PHILOSOPHY I believe everyone has a responsibility toward humanity and world. It may sound a bit idealistic but I think we should all try to have a contribution (of any kind) to solve or reduce the problems of other people and help them to live a better life.

Some detailed information about me; I was born in Uzunköprü/Edirne which is located in Eastern Thrace(European Turkey) region and grew up that city but my origin dates back to one of the Slavicized Thracians/Slavic nations which is помаци (Pomaks). My ancestors emigrated from the city of Ловеч during the war between Ottoman Empire and Russia in 1877-1878 to a village in Uzunköprü/Edirne.
