I feel at my most content marvelling at the colours & offerings from Mother Earth, which is why Bali was my home until very recently. Hi. I'm pretty ancient but love getting away from the West every so often, exploring different cultures and landscapes, working out how to get a bus, planning next move, and hopefully sharing a tea, a beer, a meal with someone who speaks a bit of English that I've met at a cafe or asked for directions. Luckily my very well-travelled kids sometimes come with me - they don't mind walking for hours to find some place that someone said we should go to, but more often I am on my own, grabbing a couple of weeks away from my job as a designer for a book publisher. I play tennis and squash and football, and cycle round my home town of London, and I write techno-dancey-indie music tracks in my spare time. Recently I've been to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and India on my own, and Vietnam with my kids. (By the way, the photos I have of my home are a bit out of date since they were taken when I was renting my space out...I'll update them when I get round to it). Happy to provide a bedroom if it fits in with my schedule - all the more if you can fill me in on certain places like China, Pakistan, Central Asia, Eastern Europe
