mein Name ist Manuel, ich bin 36 Jahre alt.
Ich wohne in Roßhaupten im Allgäu und hier bin auch aufgewachsen. Roßhaupten liegt 12 km nördlich von Füssen und 2 km vom Forggensee entfernt. Ich gehe gerne raus um Sport zu machen. Hier kann man schwimmen gehen (im Sommer zumindest) oder eine Rad- oder Bergtour machen.
Es ist immer schiwierig, sich selbst zu beschreiben, aber ich möchte es hier versuchen: Ich wohne wie gesagt im Allgäu in einem mittelkleinen Dorf, aber im "City-Center" zwischen Kirche und Schule. Ich fahre gerne Fahrrad, dabei fahre ich auch weite Strecken als Reiseradler. 2025 bin ich in 2 Monaten mit dem Fahrrad in die Türkei und bis nach Antalya gefahren. Das waren über 3000km. Im Sommer gehe ich gerne schwimmen, es gibt einige Möglichkeiten in den Seen hier.
Außerdem habe ich Tomaten und Paprika auf dem Balkon, vor dem Haus gibt es auch einen Gemüsegarten.
Wenn ich mich gerade nicht bewege, höre ich Musik oder lese ein Buch.
Ich versuche, ein "normales" Leben zu führen ohne Verschwendung und Protz, dafür mit umso mehr Nachhaltigkeit.
Ein paar Dinge, die ich meinen Gästen mitteilen möchte:
Wenn du eine Anfrage schickst und noch jemand mitbringen möchtest, kannst du dies gerne tun. Ich würde mich freuen, wenn du den oder diejenige ein bisschen beschreibst. Ich fühle mich wohler, wenn ich vorher weiß, wer in mein Haus kommt. Am Besten schickst du mir einen Link vom Profil der anderen Person.
Falls ihr Zeit zusammen mit mir verbringen möchtet, kommt bitte am Wochenende. Ich muss von Mo-Fr arbeiten und habe somit nur abends Zeit. Am Wochenende bin ich gerne bereit mit euch Fahrrad zu fahren oder wandern zu gehen.
Übernachtung bei mir zu Hause: Ich habe ein Gästezimmer mit Doppelbett und eine Couch, auf der zwei Leute schlafen können.
Nachhaltigkeit: Bitte spart Strom und Wasser, das Zeug ist teuer. Macht das Licht aus, wo ihr es nicht braucht und lasst das Wasser nicht unnötig laufen.
In meiner Küche gibt es keine Schwämme. Ich habe Spüllappen, die ich zusammen mit eurer Bettwäsche in die Waschmaschine tun kann.
Ansonsten: Haltet bitte die Müllberge klein. Ihr wisst eigentlich alle wie es geht.
Camping: Leider ist es nicht empfehlenswert, in meinem Garten zu zelten. Der Garten ist von der Straße einsehbar und befindet sich neben dem Friedhof. Allerdings kann ich eine kleine Hütte zum Übernachten anbieten, die 4km nördlich von Roßhaupten liegt.
Wildcamping ist ebenfalls nicht empfehlenswert, da wir viele Landschaftsschutzgebiete haben, in denen streng kontrolliert wird.
Besuch im Schloss Neuschwanstein: Falls du die Königsschlösser von innen anschauen möchtest, musst du an einer Führung teilnehmen. Die Karten für die Führungen können nur online gekauft werden und sind im Sommer bis zu 4 Wochen vorher ausverkauft.
Einkaufen: Supermärkte machen in Bayern um 20 Uhr zu. Bei mir im Dorf gibt es nur einen kleinen Laden, der bereits um 18 Uhr schließt und Samstags schon um 13 Uhr.

my name is Manuel and I'm 36 years old.
I am living in a very beautiful place in southern Germany, where I also grew up. The name of this region is "Allgäu". The name of the village I live is Roßhaupten, it is 12km north of Füssen and 2km away from the lake Forggensee. I love it to go outside here for making sports. You can go swimming here (at least in summertime), make a bike tour or go mountain hiking.
It is always difficult to describe youself, but I will try: As I already said I live in a village, but in the center of it between the church and the school. I like riding the bicycle and I also use my bike for long distance travelling.

I also like swimming in summer. We have some lakes to chose from.
I also grow tomatoes and paprika on my balcony and the is a garden with vegetables in front of the house.
If I don't make sports I listen to music or read a book.
I try to live a "normal" life without luxury or wasting many things, but with sustainability.
Some things I want to tell my guests:
If you request and you are accompanied by someone, feel free to bring him or her with you. But, PLEASE PLEASE!!! tell me a bit about the other person in advance. I feel better if I know before who's coming to my house. Please also tell me if you bring a man or woman, because I can't assign every name from foreign countries.
If you only write "I'm coming with a friend" only I will decline your request.
The best way to avoid this is of course sharing the link to the CS profile of the other one.
If you want to spend some time with me, please come on the weekends. I have to work from Monday to Friday and have time for you only in the evenings. On the weekends I am happy to come on a cycling or hiking tour together with you, if you like.
Sleeping at my home: I have a spare room with a double bed and a couch for two people.
Sustanability: Please save energy and water, the stuff is expensive. Turn off the light when you leave a room and turn off the water if you don't need it.
I have no sponges in my kitchen. I have pieces of cloth instead which I can just throw into the washer together with your bed sheets.
Anything else? Please keep the trash mountains small. Everyone knows how it works.
Camping: Unfortunately I cannot recommend putting up a tent in my garden. It would be visible from the street which is next to the cemetery. I only can offer you a little hut which is 4km north of Roßhaupten.
I also cannot recommend wild camping, because we have landscape protection areas with police controls at night.
Neuschwanstein castle: If you want to see the kings' castles from the inside it is necessary to join a guided tour. The tickets for these tours can only be booked online. In summer time they are sold out up to 4 weeks before.
Deutschlandticket: There is a complicated but cheap way to get around Germany. You can buy a ticket valid for public transport in all of Germany, this is all regional trains ("RE/RB") except ICE/IC and Flixtrain. It is also valid on S-Bahn, Tram and busses except Flixbus. To buy the ticket you need to create an account on the DB homepage or at any other company that provides public transport (like BRB, AVV, MVV, BVG...). The ticket is a subscription. If you don't cancel it until the 10th of a month, it continues and you pay the whole next month. At the moment the ticket costs 63€ each month and it is only possible to start with it on the first of a month. The biggest downside is that you must have a European bank account (one with SEPA and IBAN) to buy it. Some transport companies allow paying with Paypal or Creditcard, so you might be lucky without European Bank account.

Shopping food/grocery: In Bavaria (Bayern) supermarkets close at 8 pm. In my village we have a small shop only which closes at 6, on Saturdays at 1 pm.
On Sundays all shops are closed.
Finally and unfortunately I must say there's people who do not like me, this is why I have a few bad references 😭
For myself I don't use this tool, because I think it is rude to publish personal problems into the whole internet. So if I have a problem I'll tell you pesonally. I really don't like difamation.
