I’m Ari from Argentina I started travelling for myself in 2022 my first flight ever was from Buenos Aires to Sydney Australia one way, I was in the Kangaroo's country for one year, that was my first step to start slowly exploring the world, I went for myself to the southeast asia for almost 5 months, I lived 1 year in Germany and I traveled for 4 months around Argentina and Bolivia, always for myself and it was the best decision ever, I made so many new friends from different parts of the world. I understand the idea of travelling is discover or rediscover something it doesn't matter if it's a language, food, ideas or whatever. I'm a curious person that loves exploring random stuff. Most of the time I try to travel by hitchhiking, for example I came to Tromsø by hitchhiking from Stavanger It took me 6 days🤣 My parents are from Bolivia but I lived my whole life in Argentina so I have like a mix between those cultures, so my first language is Spanish but some people told me that I have a good English. CURRENT MISSION: Developing a hostel in Lofoten, Norway. I am not able to host Couchsurfers now, but I do host volunteers if you are interested in staying longer and working for food and a bed. In this case I'm looking for people who want to stay a month or so, minimum would be one week and only in special cases. ABOUT ME I never dreamed about becoming anything specific, like a doctor, mechanic or astronaut. And selecting one thing to focus on was never really my thing. I like to learn a bit about everything, at my own pace. Somehow I became a translator and writer. Mainly by chance, although I always wanted to "work with something online" so I could be my own boss and be free from geographical ties. ' I enjoy personal growth and expanding my understanding of the world. I just bought an old building in Lofoten, Norway, and will be spending a year or three there turning it into a hostel. PHILOSOPHY There is a childrens' story in Norway called Folk og røvere i Kardemomme by, about a city where the only law is this: You shall not bother other people. You have to be nice and kind. Other than that you can do whatever you want. Its a silly kids story but I still like that law and try to live by it. I live for learning new things, seeing new places, reading new books, tasting new meals, falling in love with new people, hearing new songs...

Why I should host you? Please answer ⚠️2025 in the process with fishing season until may, limited time⚠️ I am be on the Lofoten since the End of Januar 2018. I live her because i love these unique nature and love to be hiking, fishing, and meet new people, because i am a open and helpful person and loves to get to know new cultures, new people and make friends all over the world!!! Bin seit ende Januar18 nach Norwegen auf die Lofoten ausgewandert, da ich von Deutschland und seinen dauergestressten und nörgelnden Leuten die Schnauze voll hatte. Bin hier nun auf den Lofoten und genieße das Leben in dieser atemberaubenden Natur. Was gibt es schöneres als hier leben und arbeiten zu dürfen. Hier hab ich definitiv mehr Lebensqualität. Bin ein sehr offener und hilfsbereiter Mensch, der gerne neue Leute kennenlernt.
