5-5-2016 update. had some great times in the past with couchsurfing, sadly the last months 9 out of 10 requests are from People that dont read your profile but Just random ask requests. This is not why i entered couchsurfing. People used to be interested in staying with you, not Just wanting a free crash. I Will quit couchsurfing for a long time, possibly always. I am originally from Holland but moved to Nicaragua 6 years ago. I have founded a foundation and worked with disabled children in Esteli. Later I moved to leon and ended up in Poneloya at the beach. I liked Poneloya so much I decided to stay and built my own house. My house is 100 mtr away from the beach and close to many restaurants. Its a house full of murals because I like to paint. I have also painted some of the murals in Poneloya together with children. I am part of the quaker religion. The values of being a quaker are really important to me. In april 2014 my child was born during a huge earthquake. I decided to live half in Holland and half in Nicaragua for the first years. Sadly my childs daddy wasnt that honest (to say mildly) so he isnt in the picture anymore. He is also the reason me and my boy can't go to Nicaragua for a while so I had to start to make money in Holland again and starting a new life. Because of this, we only visit a few weeks a year and hope one day, when finances and life is better in Nicaragua, we can return. So Now I rent my 2 rooms of the house and my neighbours, a lovely cristian nicaraguan family are taking care of the house and the renters. Occasionally I have room for a couchsurf housesit, mainly because I like to have people inside during the night. (min stay 20 days max 30 days) so you can apply for a housesit and I tell you if it is possible. The housesit does have some requierements: -having several positive HOST references on Couchsurfing - English and spanish speaking ( minimum basic conversation) - teach min. two times a week english to the 2 kids of my caretaker (books and whiteboard are there) - you have to pay 35 dolar ( normally this is 40 % of what I actually pay each month) for the use of water/electricity/gas/internet (but you stay a whole month for free at the beach!) -its not allowed to have visitors in the house during the day or night. -No discussion if I choose not to accept you. I am not obligated to. at the moment I am looking for housesitters for: after April 10th untill end of may ( min 20 days, max 30 days) There is a childrens project nearby ( sonflora) so there might be a voluntering possibility ( you have to ask them yourselves!!!) In Leon are many volunteering possibilities ( Google)

I love languages a music. I would that’s that’s what defined me the most. Since I love languages I also love to learn about the places where they’re spoken, therefore I love traveling too, whenever I can. Many things derived from one love, as you can see.
