CURRENT MISSION *Cat sitting from now on till maybe early September or end of the August, if you are sending a request, make sure you are not allergic to cats* Been work from home for yrs and don't have many chances to meet up new people, so would like to meet up new people and listen to their stories about traveling, culture..etc. to motivate myself living here for more days. Also, trying to find a new job. ABOUT ME I am an introvert at first, but actually I am open-minded, easy-going person after known you more. I might look serious when I am not smiling, but I am probably just daydreaming so don’t take me wrong :) I like to meet different people and experience different cultures. The most thing I am interested in is traveling!! P.S. photos are long long times ago, so just imagine 10 times wider and older, ok, maybe a little bit too exaggerated, but definitely aging and wider than used to be (cry PHILOSOPHY Can't live without traveling in my life time
CURRENT MISSION Taking a 6 month break to explore the world, people, and myself. 1. Cross-Europe (completed) 2. Cross-Asia (completed) 3. Cross-Canada (ongoing) 4. El Camino de Santiago (ongoing) 5. Learning five fields that transformed the humankind (ongoing). ABOUT ME I moved to Toronto in 2021 but used to host in Chicago. Happy to meet locals and travellers for a coffee chat or walk in Toronto. So a little background about ourselves: I have lived in China, Poland, USA, and Canada. I love learning different languages and cuisines from different cultures. I traveled in 50 countries via backpacking. I used to be a martial arts trainer and a simultaneous interpreter (Chinese-English). I also run a pro bono education program that provides developmental support for first-generation university students. I have been used to the philosophy of "life is elsewhere" and seeking understanding of different cultures and sceneries around the world. PHILOSOPHY 1. To teach, travel, and enjoy myself. ABOUT ME I just returned to Chicago after spending the past three years teaching in Rio de Janeiro. Prior to that I was working and went to school in Minnesota. I am a world history teacher who loves to travel. I am always planning my next trip and hope to explore SE Asia (Cambodia and Laos), S. Africa, and Turkey in the near future!! PHILOSOPHY There are plenty of places out there worth seeing...
I was born and raised in Chicago and I love sharing this great city with travelers and continue to explore it myself. I'm vegetarian and can recommend good vegetarian places to eat in Chicago! With me and travel, it was love at first sight! I have always loved meeting people from other backgrounds and learning about other ways of being in the world. Teaching and education are topics that I love exploring and discussing. Mindfulness and nonviolence are also areas that I'm constantly learning more about.
