On a career break here of sorts so around more than usual. I grew up on a small island, travelled a lot, studied a lot, was 3 years in Canadian forces, studied overseas, worked as an immigration advisor, on some film projects, building ice climbing towers, instructed rock climbing. Current projects are building and enhancing on my property here in Yukon - setting up blacksmith shop and planning for future house, sauna, bunkhouse, greenhouse... so many projects! My main hobby is still climbing -rock or ice but sometime boats hikes and camping ar involved.

I'm involved in my community in a variety of volunteer ways, and am working for the university running a science, engineering, technology and maths outreach program for youth across the Territory. Helping scaffold kids in their discovery of different options that are available to them, and support the next generation of informed decision-makers. Things I like: adventures (big or small), sustainable living, good people and noodles of any and all varities, sunrises and choir harmonies. I enjoy: learning, travelling, eating, thrifting, reading, talking, listening, just straight up chilling, learning about local waste management strategies, falling asleep in parks, getting lost and exploring unfamiliar terrains. When travelling: with an open mind, heart and eyes. Walk everywhere. See the parks and eat the food. Never spread myself thin. Life goal: to live on a self-sufficient organic farm, surrounded by mountains as far as the eye can see! *this 15 yo bio is still accurate, minus the life goal. Revised life goal: to live in a log cabin overlooking a quiet, serene lake. In the mountains is a bonus.
