CURRENT MISSION To travel and write and eat and drink and enjoy life ABOUT ME This profile is for both my spouse, Jason, and me. We have been together almost six years and live together in Tallahassee, Florida. We spent last summer traveling Europe and couchsurfing. It was a wonderful experience. Now, we have a food truck in Tallahassee called Tacos Gringos (check us out on fb-- facebook.com/tacosgringostruck), and I work full-time at the local community college. We also recently added a new addition to the fam--a Boston Terrier named Dexter! He's so wonderful--so if you want to stay with us, you must like dogs. I have a degree in creative writing, so I like to write. I write fiction and nonfiction. I think traveling is a great inspiration for a writer. Jason is a sports fanatic and enjoys watching and playing sports. He especially enjoys playing tennis. We both like to work out and to go camping and hiking. Jason went to Florida State University and has a degree in audiology, and he is about to start a new business venture. I currently teach English and work as a Communications Specialist at TCC in Tallahassee. I have a website and a blog-- check it out at ashleyharrispaul.weebly.com. I'm also on twitter @ahpaul1. PHILOSOPHY Our personal philosophy is to get the most out of life. We want to see everything we can, experience everything we can, and live life to the fullest.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING We have been a part of couchsurfing for a little over a year now, and we enjoy every minute of it. We have been hosted by some wonderful people and we hope to do a lot more hosting in the future. I would also like to get involved in the local CS community with meetings and whatnot. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE We've hosted a group from England, and they were splendid! We have also been hosted by wonderful people all over the world.

One amazing thing that Jason and I did together was to climb half dome--over 9,000 feet high. May not seem like much, but it was Jason's first time to go camping!

We enjoy eating out, red wine, going to the movies, (American)football--Go Noles! Roll Tide! Jason loves the NY Giants, too. We like going to live sporting events--football, baseball, basketball, etc. We like having people over to our house for a nice meal. I love to cook. He does the cleaning. We like to listen to music and to travel. We like to do outdoorsy things like camp and hike and backpack. We have been to the Grand Canyon together and hiked Half dome, but we're ready for more...
