CURRENT MISSION Move from love, not fear. Remember: you are not your thoughts---so who are you? That is to say: who am I? ABOUT ME I had a long "about me" I wrote many years ago. I deleted it, it sounded too "look at me!" I guess you could call me self-conscious. "Self-conscious, but the opposite of egocentric." Yes, that sounds about right! PHILOSOPHY "Life's not about finding yourself, it's about creating yourself!" ...but I do think it's also a little bit about finding yourself, you know?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING By being a nice person I guess? COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE CouchSurfing is amazing, it's definitely a way of life, once you go CS you can never go back. Both hosting and being hosted have been enlightening experiences to no end, showing me what people are really capable of.

Baraka, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Spaced + Hot Fuzz + Shaun of the Dead, Lola Rennt, Murder by Death, High Fidelity, Clerks, Her, The Shawshank Redemption, Nuovo Cinema Paradiso, Some Like It Hot, Cloverfield, Fight Club, Back to the Future, Groundhog Day, Trainspotting, Memento Music: I have a preference for Rock/Metal and a soft spot for Prog (Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree, Yes, Riverside, King Crimson etc.) I will listen to many many different genres as well: world music (Uakti, Trio Joubran), electronic (Justice, The Flashbulb), dubstep (Pendulum), soundtracks etc, and I tend to enjoy music that defies or blends genres. The popularity of a song or tune does not play a role in my choices or tastes. Books: Conversations with God, Dune, The Dispossessed, Every book by Jose Saramago, His Dark Materials, The Art of Looking Sideways, What On Earth Happened (and Evolved), H. A. Rey's The Stars, Improbable, 1984, Brave New World, The Dark Tower, Life of Pi, Making Time, Eating Animals, Counting Sheep, books my Giorgos Pinteris, Mort, HG2G, Salonica: City of Ghosts, Death By Black Hole, The World Without Us, Watchmen, Y: The Last Man... this list has the potential to be the longest one.
