I like meeting people, feeling and touching local ways of doing. Be loyal, reliable and genuine are one of the most important qualities I'm looking for in relationships. Like a camaleon, I can enjoy stays in hostels as well as luxury hotels, though the latter being more rare ! I believe tolerance is a kind of intelligence. I like meeting easy-going people who are a bit crazy. I admire guys who are happily living off the beaten tracks. PHILOSOPHY Be driven more and more by what make me happy and less and less by what is seen as good from the common average point of view. Sometimes it takes courage to not do what almost everyone thinks and does... I'm still a rat-racer right now, but hopefully a long-term leave opened my eyes about it. I'm now aware about it and in a few years I hope to reach the state of freedom I'm looking for. To finish I would say that life is short, I try to have fun, we will finish all in the same place... I try to not forget that even if sometimes the routine and standard ways of living catch me up :/

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I had great experiences in hosting CSurfers when I was living in Melbourne, and these positive experiences changed my point of view about CS. I don't host at the moment. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Tuesday 10th September 2013 ; very great first experience @The Last Jar in Melbourne : good atmosphere and very nice people :) Saturday 31 May 2014 ; one night with Tran-Tran in Ho Chin Minh during a 12 hours stop on my way back to France : short sightseeing of Saïgon and a lot of fun and good memories ! I don't regret one second to have paid a Vietnam visa for this express experience :) In Melbourne : Weekly CS Zone meeting at Last Jar on Tuesday / CS Zone at Fitzroy Beer Garden on Friday - Beach Volley @South Melbourne Beach.. My housemate and I have hosted some people in Southbank : overall a very nice experience

A one month road trip in Bali in July 2013, being free and travelling light is so easy overthere ! A road-trip from Darwin to Perth, Australia in Sep-Oct 2017: we broke our recently bought 4-wheel drive in the middle of a river, what an adventure :D On my way back to work in Paris in 2014, a 12 hours stop in Saïgon ; a very quick overview of Vietnam and a great night of fun with Tran-Tran, a fellow CSer !

Travelling is from far my best interest. Travelling overseas or troughout the country / the city I live in. Sometimes when I ride my scooter in Paris it's like travelling ... or it can also be a nightmare. Used to travel only for short periods (week-ends in Europe or less than 2 weeks outside Europe), I've just got my first long term experience of travelling in Bali and in OZ, it was so cooool ! My interests remain basic, simple and a bit crazy like the kind of people I like : Having new experiences, a nice breakfast, eating street local food or eating out in a nice restaurant, chilling out outside with a sunny weather, partying, doing sports (not watching), .. Reading some financial & economics articles. When I was living in Paris, I was used to go to theater often but now it belongs to past.
