I prefer thoughtprovoking, "slow" movies instead of those with action and explosions. When it comes to music, every kind of it has it's own moments, but if I had to name a band, I especially like The Beatles. Update in 2019: if I had to loop one album for the rest of my life, it would be the soundtrack of Demain by Fredrika Stahl! Usually I read what others recommend, so feel free to give me a tip! :) Some favourites: Riad Sattouf's 'Arabe du futur', Yaa Gyasi's 'Homecoming', Michael Ende's 'Momo', Dalton Trumbo's 'Johnny Got His Gun', and all Politkovskaya articles/essays.
