Excerpts out of a Couchsurfer's Diary December 2015 - Now that I have settled down in New York, my college is already kicking me out again. They call it Christmas (break): but I won't be going home to my family this year before returning to college in January - instead I want to explore the city for reals, suck it all in, in its delicious, over-crowded-because-Christmassy glory. August 2015 - Doing some travelling before college, I am currently working with the Barbados Sea Turtle Project: spending my nights tracking, wrestling and tagging hawksbills on the beaches of this lovely Caribbean island. Why not? Crop Over, the island's carnival, provides contrast.
