CURRENT MISSION Massage Therapy Training ABOUT ME I work for a private estate on the coast in Maine, USA. I love spending all day outside, working with plants, trees, and the earth; listening to the ocean waves crash against the rocky beach; pausing to gaze as bald eagles fly overhead; peeking up from the weeds to catch a glance of the sailboats dotting the water out to the horizon. TRAVELER VS. TOURIST: For me, being a traveler instead of a tourist means seeking out the essence of a journey, and not just polishing the surface. It is nourishing a curiosity about the world, her inhabitants, and their lives, rather than blindly following a predetermined list of "must-see's" and "must-do's". It is an exercise in intution and communication, patience and surrender. It is the edification of a life-experience and not a series of items to be checked off the list. It is the savoring of a unique moment in time in a place far from the comforts of our daily routine rather than the consumption of the exotic. For me, a traveler inspires and enlightens (in addition to learning from) the people with whom they interact. THE ORIGIN OF MY TRAVEL BUG. I grew up in middle America (Indiana) until I was 18. After finishing high school a bit early, I moved to Fontainebleau, France in order to learn French. That's where it all began... PHILOSOPHY "Don't believe everything you think."
