CURRENT MISSION to live and learn sorrunded with people I like. ABOUT ME Hi all! Thank you for visiting my space at CS. IâÃâ¬Ãâ¢m a 29 year old educator, social media strategist and activist based in Sweden but works globally with various concepts around social change. Mostly IâÃâ¬Ãâ¢m working within the context on my own company AwareHouse, but IâÃâ¬Ãâ¢m also working with the blog network Transit Mode and a long term initiative raising awareness among people around the world on sustainable development. Jonas in three context; EDUCATOR Educating is the theme of everything IâÃâ¬Ãâ¢m doing. Because I believe what the world really need right now is awareness around how we together can change the world a better place. IâÃâ¬Ãâ¢m working as a speaker, workshop leader and coach. I also use media and social network to reach further and touch people on a more emotional level. I love every minute of it! ACTIVIST IâÃâ¬Ãâ¢m always standing up for a better world, and do what I believe in. IâÃâ¬Ãâ¢ve been working with several NGOs on local, national and global level to organize people around various issues. IâÃâ¬Ãâ¢ve attended, and organized, demonstrations and campaigns around the world. And I will never step down and let the egoism and short term thinking win. IâÃâ¬Ãâ¢ve made my choice. TRAVELER I love to travel, and are often thinking âÃâ¬ÃÂwhatâÃâ¬Ãâ¢s the next tripâÃâ¬ÃÂ. IâÃâ¬Ãâ¢ve been visiting around 40 counties on four continents. This has changed me, to see more of the spectrum. IâÃâ¬Ãâ¢ve lived with rich and poor, young and old, left and right. IâÃâ¬Ãâ¢ve seen be best sunsets and sunrise during my travels and IâÃâ¬Ãâ¢ve been eating great food from all corners of the world. IâÃâ¬Ãâ¢m not planning to stop! HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I´m always on the move somewhere in the world and I love the idea of Couchsurfing. I´ve used it a few times and I will use it more. My mission is to: LEARN MORE ABOUT THE WORLD I want to see and listen. When we get all your information from schoolbooks and media, we tend to get a limited view. So I really want to listen to people along the route and get a better understanding about social problem, religion and the future of our planet. CREATE COOPERATION´S AND CONTACTS I will create cooperation’s with organizations, politicians, media, companies and the public sector. I want to create a global network of people engaged in the issues and see that we can continue to communicate. This is a key issue in my future work as a storyteller. TELL THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STORY I can’t accept the picture we get of Africa, Middle East and Eastern Europe in the established media today. And I want to show the other side of the story. And tell you about engagement, creativity and a bright future. I will publish the stories in text, images and video at a website, use media and more. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I´ve used CS in South Africa, Mozambique, Zambia, Turkey and Kenya. I love the idea.
