Hi, my name is Laurens and I'm a travel addict. I'm not like a typical tourist though. When I'm visiting a new country, I want to see what a country is really like and to hear how locals see their own country. What better way is there to do that than Couchsurfing?

It's always great for me to meet new people from other countries and I really enjoy getting to know them better during the time we spend together. I love being shown around by a local in their own city. That way you really get to see things that you normally wouldn't see and meet people that you normally wouldn't meet.

Una cosa straordinaria che ho fatto
I did volunteer projects abroad several times in the pas years and those were my best experiences so far. With a group of local and international volunteers we were welcomed in a small village where we would live for 2 weeks among the locals while working on a project to help the local community. It's the best way to get to know a country better.

Lots of travel stories! I've been to over 60 countries (yes, it's becoming a bit like an addiction) and know a lot about the countries I have visited or want to visit in the near future. I'm always up for exchanging experiences or giving somebody advice about their next trip!

Traveling is my big passion at the moment. Next to that, I enjoy listening to good music, fitness, reading and writing.
