HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I first learned of CS by a friend I met in Chile. That was back in Feb 2008. Since then I have been telling people about my experiences along my travels. I always try and meet up with locals whenever I am travelling in their country. I actively participate on the message boards. I am now back in London and always up for meeting new people. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Limited to mostly family and friends of friends until 2008. I have mainly been using CS to meet locals and practice my spanish when I was travelling South America. However I finally took the plunge and in July 2008 I had my first CS by staying with Mandy in Vegas. An amazing experience and one which will be hard to top. I also surfed in Mumbai in 2009 which was also a very positive experience.
