CURRENT MISSION Become a Japanese translator/interpreter and enjoy my passion: Video Game Music ABOUT ME Hi, I'm Nikolas from Finland. I love my wife Motoko. She is from Japan. We speak Japanese or Finnish to each other. Her Finnish is basic/intermediate and my Japanese is very good. I'm interested in video game music, japanese language (and japan in general), traveling, other languages, food and personal development. I like to listen, ask questions and learn from other people. A couchsurfing host told me that she looked at my Facebook profile, and in the photos I looked like an energietic party person. She was surprised that I was the kind of person to talk about spirituality, for example. I told her about a life-changing book – The Power of Now. I used to make music, play piano and a bit of guitar too. But not really anymore. I still love music (especially from games) and I've been going to many game music concerts in different countries since 2009. They are getting more popular around the world. Just ask me, I know a lot about it :) I just graduated as a "Media Engineer," who usually works with coding websites and IT stuff. But that doesn't interest me anymore. (Except for SEO. If you are an SEO expert, I'd love to learn from you!) Instead, I want to become a Japanese translator and interpreter. That's why I'm applying to university again. In Finland education is free plus we get some student benefits! ❤❤❤ Motoko likes reading books, studying Finnish, playing piano, Okinawan music, Ghibli movies, food and traveling. Motoko worked as a nurse in Japan. But now we are living in Finland and she is studying Finnish in a course with other immigrants. She wants to study more and later work in a job that uses both Finnish and Japanese. (Maybe as translator/interpreter, like me.) She is the cutest thing in the universe! ❤❤❤ We don't smoke or drink alcohol. We can eat anything. We have no diet, no allergies and no foods we don't like.
