I think this is such a unique and effective way to build community across the globe. In today's world, I think community is the key to a more sustainable, compassionate global economy. On a smaller scale, I think it's such a privilege to get to meet other adventurers and get to know such amazing people that I otherwise may not have encountered. I remember every couch surfer with a great fondness.

Una cosa straordinaria che ho fatto
Just like "what's your favourite song/band/etc?" there is no ONE answer! Here are just a few: Surfing on the sunset in Guionnes, Costa Rica. The water reflected the pastels and I was swimming in it; a part of it. Surfing has an element of connecting one to the flow of the earth in a way that no other sport seems to and this was the second time I really felt that. *** Being in New York for the beginnings of the Occupy movement - before I had even heard about it - and seeing a peace march led slowly and purposefully by the "Granny Peace Brigade." It was a sea of the most convicted and somber faces I have ever seen. *** Cycling up a giant hill to a national park in Guatemala, my companion and I were out of water and thirsty, so we asked a local family if we could drink from their stream. Their 4 year old led us triumphantly through the jungle; a seasoned expert with the foliage, and encouraged us to swim. It was the most beautiful oasis and they welcomed us so whole-heartedly.
