It all started with a solo trip about eight years ago, and I've had the travel bug ever since. The last few years have been spent travelling quite extensively, which has been a brilliant experience. I've had some great times in hostels over the years and met some fantastic people, but I'm looking for a more genuine connection to the places I visit. For me, the best way to get a real feel for a place is to see it through the eyes of someone who lives there. It's less about the tourist sights and more about the culture and conversation. I'm currently working as a Software Engineer and have set up camp in Bratislava for the next few months as a digital nomad. As well as looking for a couch to surf now and then, I'm just as keen to meet up with like-minded people for a coffee or a pint, a walk around town, or just a good chat. I'm also always down to practise my Spanish if the opportunity arises.

I love meeting new people and I prefer staying with locals and experiencing new cultures. I'm also happy to host or help you with tips for Leeds!
