I am currently living in Turkey for 4 months as part of my study abroad experience. I chose Istanbul because it is one of my favorite cities and I had always wanted to go back since visiting it for the first time 3 years ago. Turkey is also a fascinating country that is really changing right now, and I wanted to somewhat experience this process. And finally, Turkey is a perfect place for travelling! Very centrally located to travel, whether East, West, North or South.
