I’m Arvind from India, currently based in Munich, Germany. I work as a mechanical design engineer and I enjoy meeting new people, hearing their stories and seeing places through a local’s eyes instead of just ticking off tourist spots. I’m easygoing, respectful, clean, and fairly minimalistic in how I live and travel. I enjoy good conversations, exploring cities on foot, trying local food and sharing experiences that feel real rather than rushed. For me, travel is not just about places, it’s about people, culture, and small moments you remember later.

Perché sono su Couchsurfing
I’m here because I want to travel in a more human way. Hotels give comfort, but Couchsurfing gives connection. I like the idea of meeting locals, understanding how people actually live in a place and exchanging stories, ideas and perspectives. I’m not here just for a free stay. I’m here for meaningful travel, cultural exchange and genuine connections.
Musica, film e libri
I enjoy a mix of romantic, sad, classic, and upbeat music. I often listen to Arijit Singh, Kaka and Satinder, Jaani. For books, now a day I like self development and philosphy. For movies, I enjoy more Bollywood than Hollywood. Some I like are Devdas, Bajirao Mastani, Ram-Leela, Iron Man, Troy, and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Una cosa straordinaria che ho fatto
Moving to Germany and building a life here has been one of the biggest things I’ve done. It pushed me out of my comfort zone, helped me adapt to a new culture, and made me more open-minded and independent. It changed the way I see people, travel and life in general.
Insegna, Impara, Condividi
I can share stories about life in India and Germany, a bit about engineering and design, Indian culture, and travel experiences. I’d love to learn about local habits, food, language, hidden places and how everyday life feels in different parts of the world.
Cosa posso offrire agli host
I can share good conversation, respect for your home and routine, cleanliness, positive energy, travel stories and Indian culture. I’d also be happy to cook a simple Indian meal if possible, help with small household things and bring a thoughtful gift or snack from where I’m coming from.
