I love Dave Matthews Band, Shovels and Rope, and Dr. Dog. It is really hard for me to narrow down to a few favorite movies. The most recent movie I watched is Creed - I loved it. It made me feel extremely nostalgic for my home in Philadelphia after being away for 6 months. My favorite books include The Alchemist, The Catcher in the Rye, Northern Lights, and Cat's Cradle.

Packed everything up in my car and took a 7 week road trip across the country. I have always wanted to go on a road trip, but I never really thought it would happen - I figured I wouldn't have a solid chunk of time. Fortunately for me, I had a a few months after my AmeriCorps service with City Year and went off on an amazing adventure Summer 2015. One of my favorite things was seeing the largest urban bat colony in Austin, Texas. Over 1 million bats live under a bridge in Austin and all fly out for feeding time at twilight. It was an amazing sight to see an endless stream of bats come out from underneath the bridge into the twilight sky reaching dusk.
