To meet fun interesting people and to learn about the area. I could absolutely pay for accommodations and often do but what an awesome opportunity to meet cool people in other parts of the world and then plan my adventures based on local connections I've made

I'm definitely young at heart and have a lot of respect for people's space and belongings. Though, I'm able to graciously accept a gift or kindness, I'd expect to pay or help pay for expenses during my stay. Let's go out and buy fresh ingredients and then prepare a meal together:-)
