Every day is my last chance to live that day. I founded an annual bicycle race to benefit my brother (who has Down Syndrome). I had a Cambodian military escort, because I owed them money. I'm in a Bollywood movie (Ae Dil Hai Mushkil), was in Turkey after the coup, worked at a refugee camp in Sweden, trekked to Mt. Everest Base Camp, and I have a chin scar from when a girl beat me up in kindergarten. I have literally never lost a thumb war. Before my big trip I worked at MBS International Airport, handling private and emergency flights. I was also responsible for the company's safety program and fuel quality control program. Now I work for DowDupont as a process operator.

Perché sono su Couchsurfing
I live my life in the pursuit of diverse skills and noteworthy experiences. The greater the story, the greater the appeal! The main reason I'm on Couch surfing (aside from the obligatory reminder of the cost benefit) is that I want to develop a deeper relationship and understanding with the people in those places I visit.
Musica, film e libri
I am a HUGE science fiction fan!
Una cosa straordinaria che ho fatto
I have a few great travel stories, but I'd rather hear your stories first. : ) At home, I am the director and founder of a single day, 175 mile cycling race benefiting the Special Olympics, in honor of my older brother with Down Syndrome. Also, I twice volunteered to set up the facilities for the Experimental Aircraft Association's Gathering of Eagle's dinner, which raises over $2,000,000 U.S.D. in a single evening.
Cosa posso offrire agli host
Anyone can share travel stories, but I can give you HUNDREDS of bland science fiction reviews. I can ALSO ruin the plots! Or I could cook a fancy Grilled Cheese Sandwich :)
I miei interessi
I am a PADI certified open-water scuba diver. I have over 60 hours of flight experience as a student pilot. I also have a few research hobbies, mostly related to homesteading and efficient building design. I look forward to any opportunity to improve my skill set and life's story in some way, regardless of that opportunity's location or difficulty. Skills I wish to learn include cooking, horseback riding, surfing, sailing, programming, aquaoponics, land/ecology management, and martial arts. I am also drug free thanks to my job, though I hold no judgement over people who like that stuff. I do (occasionally) drink alcohol, but that depends upon the wishes of my host.
