One of the strongest book I've ever read was "1984" by George Orwell . I was quite shocked for some time! I don't think I completely recovered after that. The very first book I've read by myself was "Harry Potter". Nice one, don't you think so? J.R.R. Tolkien knew how to do literature! I've been lucky to read LORT when I was 16 and that is just a perfect time to do it! "On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life" by Charles Darwin. This book had influenced me probably more than any other. I can talk about this topic for like 30 hours straight. Twelve Monkeys! Love this movie. Wes Anderson is a great director! the guy who made Rushmore, Moonrise Kingdom, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Darjeeling Limited, Fantastic Mr. Fox. Check it out, you will love it! Cast Away, American Beauty, Das Leben der Anderen, Reservoir Dogs, Psycho(1960), Oldeuboi(2003), Submarine(2010), Pulp Fiction - All of those movies are great! You haven't seem them yet! Oh man, you shoud watch it!
