My name is Chelsea and I'm originally from Washington State. After high school I went to a community college called Green River for two years and received my general arts degree. A few months later I applied for AmeriCorps NCCC for the winter semester. I am currently still working for AmeriCorps until November 2016. While going to college I worked at a Child Care facility called La Petite Academy. I love meeting new people and traveling!

Perché sono su Couchsurfing
I wanted to try couch surfing because I heard about how great and easy it is from a friend. While I'm volunteering I spend time traveling and exploring the areas I'm living in, but can't always afford to pay for hotel expenses and I have no family on the east coast. Couch surfing seems like a great opportunity to try something new and to meet amazing and generous people!
Musica, film e libri
I love all kinds of music. I listen to each genre for a different reason. I can't say that I have particular favorite of anything. Same with movies and books. I do enjoy reading science fiction novels or horror. I also like comedy/satire or drama.

One amazing thing I have done was holding my baby brother for the first time after he was born.

One thing I can definitely share with my hosts are the experiences I've had while working in AmeriCorps NCCC for the past few months and what I've learned so far about each different area I've been in.

I have a lot of interest in music and culture. I also have interest in traveling especially to New Orleans and New York City. I love learning new things and having spontaneous adventures.
