I'm a big fan of Agatha Christie. I have almost all her books, especially those with Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple. I love to (re)watch Little Miss Sunshine.

I have a friend who has been an au pair in Ireland for a year, and at the time I was a student so I knew I couldn't afford plane tickets to go see her in Dublin, so when she organized a party just before leaving I bought her a wood box that I painted/decorated myself, and inside I wrote her 365 little notes, 1 per day, to be sure she thought of me the entire year. That was the most personnal gift I ever made for someone. It's been a few years now and she still read the little messages sometimes.
