2013 a coworker of mine, was creating and hosting a CS-monday meeting in St. Pauli and introduced me to the Couchsurfing Website. A week later I went to the meeting knowing only the Barkeeper and had a blast of an evening, meeting new people with the most different Background so easily. I went more and more often, enjoying the open athmosphere where you could create, enter and exit conversations however you like. I found some dear friends and a lovely community over the years. To this Day I love spending my monday evening there, leading to me taking over as a Host in Jan'16, when our former Founder, Friend and Barkeeper David went to Berlin.
