Many interests (see below). Love life and all the new adventures and insights it offers. We emigrated to the US when I was 10, so really I grew up both here and there. I am now an American-By-Choice. I live alone off the grid in a solar-powered straw-bale house, out in desert nowhere west of the Rio Grande from Taos, surrounded by grand vistas and quiet serenity. The house has a spare bedroom plus a fold-out sofa in the study. Both rooms would be private.

Perché sono su Couchsurfing
I like both traveling and hosting other travelers. I have been both a guest and host, both through Couchsurfing and outside of any organization. Some guests who are Couchsurfers got me interested in joining, and I have subsequently met some amazing people.
Musica, film e libri
Anything by Haydn, most 18th Century music, and quite a bit outside those parameters, from Susato to Mahler, and current dance music -- as long as it has a lively beat and singable melody. Books: Mysteries, history, political analysis, unpretentious novels, anything written with wit. Movies: Mysteries, romantic comedies with a a bit of an edge, period pieces (esp. British series in that vein), films with unpredictable but believable endings (those are few!), indies.
Una cosa straordinaria che ho fatto
I have yet to amaze myself. It has been my good fortune to know many amazing people with truly interesting accomplishments. All through life I encounter people with new insights that inform and expand my own.
Insegna, Impara, Condividi
Love of my surroundings, hikes in the area; cooking, home grown veggies, baked goods, the respite of afternoon tea, real conversations about nearly anything. Insights into personal relationships; how they work and don't.
Cosa posso offrire agli host
Cheerful company, good conversation, wit, openness to adventure.
