Membro dal 2018
Hi I'm Jess, I'm 25 years old and from Australia (Melbourne). In 2018 I quit my job as a Physiotherapist to explore the world. I travelled solo for 5 months firstly in Europe and now I have just completed 1 year of Au Pairing in Germany & studying German. I am travelling again for a couple of months before heading home. I am very active - I enjoy hiking (day and overnight), camping, running, snowboarding. I am also a big lover of food, particularly eating authentic cuisine. I love learning about new cultures and meeting other travellers to hear about their experiences (and get some inspiration). I like to watch sunset / sunrise.

Perché sono su Couchsurfing
I used couch surfing during my travels through Europe as a way to meet locals and share experiences! I think it's a great way to see the local culture and meet awesome people. I would definitely be open to hosting people in the future (when I have a place I’ve settled in)
Musica, film e libri
I love listening to live music, I often go to gigs at home and enjoy going to music festivals. I like too many bands to name them all, but some current bands include: The Kooks, The Wombats, Ball Park Music, Chvrches, Mumford and Sons, Angus and Julia Stone. I am also a big fan of the 70s/80s (the stuff my parents listen to) including: Queen, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, U2, Elton John, ABBA, The Beatles Books: I am a big Harry Potter fan. I always will be. (Currently re-reading them in German). But I am open to lots of genres! I love board games/ card games. Currently watching on netflix: Stranger Things, The Crown, Dark
Una cosa straordinaria che ho fatto
Walked 100km (in a team of 4) in 29 hours without sleep - A fundraiser completed in 2017 for the organisation Oxfam.
Cosa posso offrire agli host
Stories from the places I've travelled, stories about Australia and the outback. Good company and hopefully a laugh. You can taste some Vegemite - it’s a necessity in every Australian household.
