COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have very little couchsurfing experience, but I hope to change that soon. I used it once in 2014 and had a wonderful experience but most of my traveling since then has been last minute, and I didn't want to burden anyone with a last minute request. I usually do the hostel route specifically to meet new people, but really want to get more into this site because I love the mission behind it, meeting new people, and learning about different cultures. Since I am actually planning my Europe trip in advance this time, I figured it was a perfect opportunity to come back to this site to meet some new people, exchange stories, and make new friends. I know sometimes it's hard trusting someone that is new or hasn't used the site much..and it's actually why I didn't join earlier. I just figured I would go with the tried-and-true method of staying at hostels..but I have heard such good things from my friends who use this site. I can give you my facebook page to look at with many more pictures of my travels, friends, etc. or we can talk on the phone first or skype - whatever will make you feel more comfortable.

I like all different kinds of music from 90's hip hop and R&B to more current pop..I guess that's what you would call it.
