We are Filipino-Czech couple that met in Iceland, where we live when not traveling. We live minimalistic and simple life in the north of Iceland. (We currently living separately, Jesha in Akureyri and Jan in Mývatn). We do not possess any more than we can fit into our backpacks. To simplify, we hate the clutter of modern day lie and decided to free ourselves from it, and chose the “Greek lifestyle of camp bed & cloak.” We do not smoke or drink, but we love to share stories from our travels and hear yours! People we hosted recently: 02/23 - Wojciech and Wojciech, Poland 03/23- Aleš Veselý, Slovakia 03/23- MariaVittoria, Italy 04/23- Judit Molnár, Hungary 09/23- Silvia, Italy 05/24- Miro, Brazil 07/24- Alev, Germany We are huge fans of philosophy, meditation and other practices, and John is particularly interested in ancient history, geology, astronomy and human nutrition. This usually makes for some great topics of discussion with others :-)

Musica, film e libri
We like listening to a lot of acoustic music and jazz, but we do not judge the music taste of others. Here are three of our favorite movies, Books and Music: MOVIES: 1️⃣ Pulp Fiction 2️⃣ Lord of the Rings 3️⃣ Get Out Generally we like sci-fi and fantasy. BOOKS: 1️⃣ Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu 2️⃣ Letters from a Stoic by Seneca 3️⃣ Meditations by Marcus Aurelius Mostly reading books about philosophy, ancient teachings and so on. But when it comes to books we are not picky :-) MUSIC: 1️⃣ Jazz 2️⃣ Metal 3️⃣ Country And pretty much anything.. We do not judge others taste of music.

📌We have travelled through Greece on foot in 2022. 📌 We seen a volcano erupting and hiked all the way to it, twice in 2021. 📌 Decided to get rid of possessions in favour of simple life and traveling.
