I want to travel (duh), but I want to know the not-so-touristic places only locals can show you. To learn what people like about the place they live, and to have a more insight view. And someday, when I live alone, I would love to host too, but now I can't :( Also, I'm positive that there's good people all over the world. And couchsurfing seems like a good way to let go of prejudices one might have about other cultures, and to appreciate the differences that we have as something that makes us more diverse and interesting, rather than as something that breaks us apart.
