My friend and I bought the cheapest flights to anywhere in the world which happened to be Bangkok and travelled for 2 months around South East Asia with minimal money and no plans. We ended up paddling for 2 days down the Mekong River in a wooden fishing boat to cross the border from Thailand to Laos and I’m very lucky to live to tell that tale...
