HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING We shall see! I have a couch (or two or three) to offer, and we (my family and I) are authentic people with open minds and hearts. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Very few so far - just registered. But I have hosted for houseguests from around the world - Nigeria, Britain, Japan, Chile...but only one set of guests via couchsurfing, and I've never been a guest. I don't travel much, with a low income and three children to care for and educate. But I hope for that to change.
Musica, film e libri
All music (especially "World" music) EXCEPT some electronica, rap, or modern R&B...I love sci-fi, romance, and witty comedy movies...I read mostly non-fiction and memoirs, but I occasionally can get into a fantasy adventure novel or a Stephen King thriller.
Una cosa straordinaria che ho fatto
On a beach near my house, I met a baby Pacific Harbor Seal, waiting for his mother to return from the hunt. I stayed and watched him and talked to him for a while, saw the innocence and life in his eyes, and was deeply moved. It was a moment no camera could have captured.

I am happy to share my skills and knowlege, in all areas (see "occupation" above)! I especially enjoy helping others to clear their minds of clutter, to simplify their internal dialog. I am working to learn more Spanish, as well as start learning Hindi and Marathi. Currently researching India: history, culture, language, geography, art/architecture, etc. Plans to travel there in December!
